Scope:                                                                                                                                                Design of Compression System to sustain LNG production at declining reservoir pressure

Challenge:

• Declining reservoir pressure below 70 bara impacting LNG production

• Wide operating range (21–70 bara, varying temperature and flow)

• Risk of compressor surge, hydrate formation, and liquid carryover

• Need for long-term operability over field life (20+ years)

Engineering Approach:

• Complete system integration including suction drum, compressor, coolers, discharge              drum.

• Advanced compressor control using CCC system (performance + anti-surge).

• Multi-stage separation to ensure dry gas to compressor

• MEG injection and temperature control to prevent hydrates

• HIPPS and safety valve integration for overpressure protection
